County Opens Housing Waiting List

On Monday, August 17, at 8 a.m., the L.A. County Development Authority’s Public Housing Program began accepting registrations for 16 Site-Based Waiting Lists, including 10 elderly-designated properties.
Deadline to apply is September 16, 2026 (5 p.m.) and small site lists may close earlier once 1,000 applications are received. Interested individuals may register to one or more lists during this time. Apply at harp.lacda.org/ex/NewApp.aspx or by calling (626) 586-1522. More information including property addresses, bedroom sizes, and more can be found online at www.lacda.org.
