El CARISO PARK in Sylmar
This week we will walk in El Cariso Park in Sylmar. We will meet at the parking lot by the day care center (Take the last driveway in and go all the way to the end to park).Temps should be in the high 60's to low 70's during our walk. Directions and maps are below.
DIRECTIONS:
- Take the 210 Freeway West to the Hubbard St exit in Sylmar
- Turn RIGHT at the top of the exit ramp onto Hubbard Street.
- Drive about one mile up Hubbard street. You will pass Mission College on your right and then see El Cariso park next to the college, also on your right.
- TURN RIGHT into the LAST entrance to the park (if you get to Simshaw Ave you have gone too far).
- Almost immediately turn left onto the park road and drive to the end of that park road and park near the day care center.
